Wash gently at the scalp. Dilute a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner and cleanse your scalp and the length in a downward motion, letting the suds rinse through without roughing up the hair.
Air dry fully. Let the hair air dry completely—especially at the roots and the base of each braid or crochet—to keep the curl pattern intact and prevent mildew.
Use heat with care. Because this is 100% human hair, you can flat-iron or curl it—just mist with our Heat Protectant Spray first and keep tools at 400°F or below, never exceeding 400°F.
Keep it moisturized. Refresh with a light leave-in or water mist and seal your ends and scalp with oil to keep the hair soft and your style looking fresh.
Wrap it at night. Cover your braids, twists, or crochet with our Black Silk Bonnet or a satin scarf while you sleep to reduce frizz and extend the life of your style.
