For most lengths up to 18β³, two to three bundles will give you a full, natural look. For 20β³ and longer, we recommend three to four bundles to keep your style lush from root to tip. Adding a matching closure or frontal completes the install beautifully.
Yes! Because our hair is 100% human, it can be colored, lightened, and heat-styled just like your natural hair. We always recommend having color services done by a licensed professional, and using a heat protectant with hot tools set between 350Β°F and 390Β°F to keep the hair healthy and shining.
Yes. Choose the shade whose root color matches your own hair. The darker root blends into your leave-out while the highlights add soft, sun-kissed dimension through the lengths β no bleach on your natural hair required.
Our balayage is hand-painted, so the lighter tones are swept softly through the hair instead of changing color in one straight line like ombrΓ©. Each balayage listing includes a full-length photo so you can see exactly where the dark root ends and the highlights begin before you order.

Balayage hair has already been color-processed, so we donβt recommend bleaching or lifting it any lighter β that can cause dryness and breakage. You can safely deposit a darker shade or refresh the tone with a demi- or semi-permanent color. Please have any color work done by a licensed stylist.
All colored hair fades a little over time. To keep your tones rich, wash with cool water, use sulfate-free, color-safe products, deep condition regularly, and always use a heat protectant. A purple or blue toning shampoo used occasionally helps keep lighter tones bright.
