How long will this wig last? With proper care, this hair lasts 6 months to a year. Washing gently, keeping heat low, and wrapping it at night are what stretch it to the far end of that range.
Wash gently with shampoo & conditioner. Cleanse with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, working through the hair in a downward motion to keep the wefts and cap intact, then rinse thoroughly.
Detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Work through the hair while it's damp and conditioned, starting at the ends and moving up—never brush the curls dry.
Air dry on a stand. Place your wig on a wig stand or mannequin to air dry. Scrunch rather than rub to keep the cap and the spiral curl pattern intact—avoid wringing or rough towel-drying.
Always use a heat protectant. Before any hot tools, mist with our Heat Protectant Spray and keep your flat iron, wand, or blow dryer at 400°F or below—never exceed 400°F.
